Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- O. flavipalpata is a junior subjective synonym of Spilosoma innotata Walker, 1885, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 3:674. A junior homonym of Beeria Match, 1957, Univ. Wash. Publs Biol. 16 (2): 231, Insecta, Coleoptera. There is no objective replacement name but O. flavipalpata is congeneric with Casama indeterminata Walker, 1865, the type-species of Casama Walker, 1865. The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective relacement name.
