Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- A. castrensis is a junior subjective synonym of Xenarchus osorius Herrich-Schäffer, [1856] 1850-1858, Samml. neuer oder wenig bekannter aussereur. Schmett. 1 (1): wrapper, pl.89, fig.511, pl.90, fig.512. BRACHYCODILLA was included within the family AIDIDAE by Epstein et al., in Kristensen (1999).
