Memo: Nemophora Hoffmannsegg, 1798 was downgraded to denote a subgenus of Adela Latreille, [1796] by Kuppers, 1977, Beitraege Zur Naturkundlichen Forschung in SuedwestDeutschland 36 : 245. Cauchas Zeller, 1839 was established to denote a subgenus of Adela Latreille, [1796] and was raised to generic level by Nielsen, 1980, Entomologica Scandinavica 11 (2) : 162. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- See also: * Adelo Gistl, (1847); Aedilis Gistl, 1848; Metallitis Sodoffsky, 1837; * Odela Christoph, 1882 ADELA was included within the subfamily ADELIDAE: ADELINAE by Davis, in Kristensen (1999).
