| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- Brephia is not nomenclaturally available for use from 1818 as a genus-group name as Hübner used it, on both pages, in a suprageneric sense for the name of a tribe (Namen der Stamme) as listed on page 33. Hübner listed his genus-group names on page 35. Fletcher (1979) stated:- Not nomenclaturally available from 1818 as a genus-group name. Hübner used Brephia on page 28 in a suprageneric sense for one of the names of his tribes (Namen der Stämme) listed on pages [33],[34]. Hübner listed his genus-group names on pages [35], [36]. See: BREPHOS Hübner, [1813]. Poole (1989) included BREPHA Billberg, 1820; PAIS Hübner, 1821; and BREPHIA Hübner, 1822 as junior synonyms of BREPHOS Hübner, 1813. |
