Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Brotolomia was proposed as the objective replacement name for Solenoptera Duponchel, [1845]; it is therefore, also, a junior objective synonym of Phlogophora Treitschke, 1825. See: PHLOGOPHORA Treitschke, 1825. Poole (1989) included SOLENOPTERA Duponchel, 1845; BROTOLOMIA Lederer, 1857; HABRYNTIS Lederer, 1857; RACOPTERA Scott, 1858; CHUTAPHA Moore, 1882; and MESOLOMIA Smith, 1893 as junior synonyms of PHLOGOPHORA Treitschke, 1825. HABRYNTIS Lederer 1857 was treated as a valid genus being revalidated by Beck 1996, Neue Entomologische Nachrichten 36 : 62.
