Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- A junior homonym of Bryomima Staudinger, 1900, -Lepid., Noctuidae. There is no objective replacement name but B. elaeodes Turner, 1902 August 22nd, is a junior subjective synonym of Trissernis prasinoscia Meyrick, 1902 April 14th, the type-species of Trissernis Meyrick, 1902. The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name. See: TRISSERNIS Meyrick, 1902. Poole (1989) included BRYOMIMA Turner, 1902 (preoccupied) as a junior synonym of TRISSERNIS Meyrick, 1902.
