Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Bucinna was proposed as the objective replacement name for Betousa Walker, [1866]. Poole (1989) included BUCINNA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included BETOUSA Walker, 1866 as a junior synonym of BUCINNA Walker, 1866. Poole (1989) included 2 species in the genus BUCINNA.
