Hétérocères) 1: 21, pl.3, fig.3, a subspecies of Smerinthus gaschkewitschii Bremer & Grey, 1853, in Motschoulsky, Etudes ent. 1: 62, and 1853, Beitr. Schmett.-Fauna nord. China: 13, pl.5, fig.2 (not fig.3 as stated in text). Kitching & Cadiou (2000) include BURROWSIA Tutt, 1902; KAYEIA Tutt, 1902 and SICHIA Tutt, 1902 as junior synonyms of MARUMBA Moore, 1882.
