Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- This name was introduced as a replacement for the name Phoedinus Godman & Salvin, [1894], which is invalid under the Law of Homonymy. Prior to the publication of the name Caicella, the name Phoedinus Godman & Salvin had already been replaced by the name Anaperus Mabille & Boullet, 1919, but unfortunately that name also was invalid under the Law of Homonymy. Cowan (1970: 42) stated:- "CAICELLA - print light [unavailable name], Phoedinus G. & S. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
