Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Calodyscia was originally proposed as a subgenus of Dyscia Hübner, [1825], and was again so proposed by Wehrli, 1953, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 4 (Suppl.): 664. S. sicanaria, originally proposed as a subspecies of Geometra conspersaria [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, was raised to specific rank by Warnecke, 1941, Z. wien. EntVer. 26: 209. Parsons et al. (1999) included CALODYSCIA Wehrli, 1950; CATADYSCIA Wehrli, 1950; EUDYSCIA Wehrli, 1950; IBERAFRINA Wehrli, 1950; MAESIA Stephens, 1831; PSEDNOTHRIX Hübner, 1825; RJABOVANA Wehrli, 1950; SCODIONA Boisduval, 1840; WARNECKEELLA Wehrli, 1950; and ZULEIKA Bang-Haas, 1906 as junior synonyms of DYSCIA Hübner, 1825.
