Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- The designation of C. joannisella as type-species has been incorrectly attributed by authors to Ragonot, 1893, in Romanoff, Mém Lépid. 7: xlviii. On pages xliii-lvi of the volume Ragonot included a `Table synoptique des Genres des Phycitinae' and each genus-group name in the table or key, is followed by a species-group name. There is, however, no statement in the volume that the species-group names so cited are type-species and without a clear statement of such an intention they do not constitute valid type-species designations under the Code.
