Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- The type-species was included by Treitschke as Tinea pomonana [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, Ankündung syst. Werkes Schmett. Wienergegend: 120, an unjustified emendation of Phalaena pomonella Linnaeus, 1758. Curtis designated Tinea pomonella (Linnaeus) and on the next page placed pomonana as a synonym of it. Carpocapsa is a junior objective synonym of Cydia Hübner, [1825]. See also: Carpocampha Harris, 1841. Listed under CYDIA Hubner, [1825] 1816, Verz. bekannter Schmett. 375 in T@RTS: Online World Catalogue of the Tortricidae (Ver. 2.0) by Gilligan, T. M., J. Baixeras, J. W. Brown & K. R. Tuck. 2012.
