Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- See also: UGANA Swinhoe, 1909. Poole (1989) included ABURINA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included UGANA Swinhoe, 1909 as a junior synonym of ABURINA Möschler, 1887. Poole (1989) included 19 species in the genus ABURINA.
