Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- but this was probably an error as the species illustrated is not known to occur in the New World but is widespread in the Oriental Region. Poole (1989) included EUCLIDISEMA Hampson, 1913 as a junior synonym of CHALCIOPE Hübner, 1823. Poole (1989) included 11 species in the genus CHALCIOPE.
