Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- but cited for * Chamina, an incorrect subsequent spelling. See also: Varia Walker, [1867]. Poole (1989) included CHAMYNA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included VARIA Walker, 1867; and SIPATOSIA Hampson, 1926 as junior synonyms of CHAMYNA Hübner, 1821. Poole (1989) included 8 species in the genus CHAMYNA.
