| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- An incorrect subsequent spelling of Chionodes Hübner, [1825] * Chionoda was cited by Hemming, 1937, Hübner 2: 170, and followed by Neave, 1939, Nomencl. zool. 1: 696, as an emendation of Chionodes Hübner, [1825]; there is, however, no evidence that * Chionoda was a "demonstrably intentional change in the original spelling" as required by this Code (Edn 3), Article 33(b). |
