Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Christophiella was proposed as the objective replacement name for Christophia Staudinger, 1897. A. festinaria is currently regarded as a subspecies of Euchera agnes Butler, 1878, Ann. Mag. nat. Hist. (5) 1: 441. Incorrect type-species: Geometra pyraliata [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, a name not originally included in either Christophia Staudinger, 1897, or in Christophiella and not linked with one of the originally included names when designated by Derenne-Meyers, 1929, Faune de la Belg. (Classification des Géométrides): 34. Parsons et al. (1999) included CHRISTOPHIA Staudinger, 1897; and CHRISTOPHIELLA Berg, 1898 as junior synonyms of GANDARITIS Moore, 1868.
