Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior homonym of Clarkeia Kozlowski, 1923, Annls Paléont. 12: 86 - Brachiopoda. The objective replacement name is Clarkeiodes Amsel, 1957. Neurophyseta * sabulalis Schaus, referred to by Amsel, 1956 ibidem 10: 115, was a Schaus manuscript name made nomenclaturally available as Clarkeia sabulalis Amsel, 1956. Shaffer (pers. comm.) treats CLARKEIA in the CRAMBIDAE: GLAPHYRIINAE.
