Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Proposed unnecessarily as an objective replacement name for Tephrosia Boisduval, 1840, because the name was reminiscent of Theraphosa Walckenaer, 1805. A junior homonym of Coenobita Latreille, 1829, Icon. Règne anim. Cuvier (Edn 2) 4: 77 - Crustacea. See: ECTROPIS Hübner, [1825] 1816. Parsons et al. (1999) included BOARMIA Stephens, 1829; COENOBITA Gistl, 1848; and TEPHROSIA Boisduval, 1849 as junior synonyms of ECTROPIS Hübner, 18
