Memo: Comibaena Hübner, 1823 was treated as a valid genus and brought out of synonymy by Walia, 1988, Research Bulletin of the Panjab University Science 39 (1-2) : 106. Parsons et al. (1999) included CHLOROCHAETA Warren, 1904; COLUTOCERAS Warren, 1895; COMOBAENA Agassiz, 1847; MYRTEA Gumppenberg, 1895; PHORODESMA Boisduval, 1840; PROBOLOSCELES Meyrick, 1897; and ULIOCNEMIS Warren, 1893 as junior synonymys of COMIBAENA Hübner, 1823. Parsons et al. (1999) included 57 species and 13 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus COMIBAENA.
