Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- A junior homonym of Compsa Perty, 1832, in Spix, Delectus Anim. articulatorum Bras. (2): 92, - Insecta, Coleoptera. The objective replacement name is Zolessia Biezanko & Monne, 1968. Becker, V.O., 2001, The identity of some unrecognized Neotropical Bombycoidea (Lepidoptera) described by Francis Walker. Revta bras. Zool. 18: 153-157 included Compsa Walker, 1862.; Mesotages Felder, 1874; Tarchon Druce, 1887; and Zolessia Biezanko & Monné, 1968 as new synonyms of Prothysana Walker, 1855.
