| Memo: | Corythurus Hampson, 1893 was treated in the Noctuidae, Acronictinae/Amphipyrinae in Nye 1975, 1 : 137. Corythurus was referred from the Amphipyrinae to the Eustrotiinae within the Noctuidae by Speidel, Fanger & Naumann, 1996, Systematic Entomology 21 (3) : 24 Poole (1989) included CORYTHURUS in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (1999). Poole (1989) included 2 species in the genus CORYTHURUS. |
