| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) included COSMOPTERIX in the family COSMOPTERIGIDAE. Hodges, in Kristensen (1999) included COSMOPTERIX in the subfamily COSMOPTERIGINAE. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- In Opinion 866 Cosmopteryx was placed on the Official List of Generic Names in Zoology: Name Number 1833, and T. zieglerella was placed on the Official List of Specific Names in Zoology: Name Number 2288.
