| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Cotachena was not placed in a subfamily when established in the Pyralidae; it was placed in the Endotrichinae, now Pyralinae by Hampson, 1896 Fauna Br. India (Moths) 4: 142; and in the Pyraustinae by Shibuya, 1928, J. Fac. Agric. Hokkaido imp. Univ. 22: 114. Shaffer (pers. comm.) treats COTACHENA in the CRAMBIDAE: SPILOMELINAE. |
