Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- An unjustified emendation of Agagles White, 1841, (but the latter cited as * Aglages White, an incorrect subsequent spelling). The `Index universalis' was published as Fascicle 12 of the Nomencl. zool.; Aglagus is dated from the wrapper of Fascicle 12, not from its title-page dated 1846.
