Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior homonym of Crossophora Meyrick, 1883 Proc. Linn. Soc. N.S.W. 7: 425 - Lepid. Oecophoridae. There is no objective replacement name but C. miscellalis was stated by Schaus, 1940, Sci. Survey P. Rico 12: 351, to be congeneric with Syllepte incomptalis Hübner, 1823, the type-species of Syllepte Hübner, 1823; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.
