| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- Crothaema was established in the Limacodidae; it was transferred to the Tortricidae by Meyrick, 1918, Exot. Microlepid. 2: 163; to the Lasiocampidae by Meyrick, 1931, ibidem 4: 157; and back to the Limacodidae by Meyrick, 1932, ibidem 4: 265; it was included in the Limacodidae by Hering, 1928, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 14: 455, and by Janse, 1964, Moths S. Afr. 7: 21, 28. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Crothaema was established in the Limacodidae; it was transferred to the Tortricidae by Meyrick, 1918, Exot. Microlepid. 2: 163; it was included in the Limacodidae by Hering, 1928, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 14: 455, and by Janse, 1964, Moths S. Afr. 7: 21, 28. |
