| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- A junior homonym of Cyclopteryx Guenée, 1854, in Boisduval & Guenée, Hist. nat. Insectes (Spec. gén. Lepid.) 8: 46, - Lepid., Noctuidae. There is no objective replacement name, but C. leucosigma is congeneric with Adoneta voluta Clemens, 1860, the type-species of Adoneta Clemens, 1860. The latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name. Both C. leucosigma and A. voluta are junior subjective synonyms of Limacodes spinuloides Herrich-Schäffer , [1854] 1850-1858, Samml. neuer oder wenig bekannter aussereur. Schmett. 1 (1): wrapper, pl.38, figs 187, 188. |
