| Memo: | Hemming (1967) stated:- In the text published in 1850 (ibidem. (2) : 316), written by Westwood after Doubleday's death, the above was again the only species placed in the genus Cymatogramma. Cymatogramma Doubleday, [1849] was designated as the type-genus for the new tribe Cymatogrammini (Anaeinae, Charaxidae) [now treated in the Nymphalidae, Charaxinae] by Rydon, 1971, Entomologist's Record and Journal of Variation 83 : 340. [Anaeinae is not adopted here]. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008). |
