| Memo: | Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- A junior homonym of Cyptonychia Druce, 1899. This generic name probably originated from Hampson but was used and made nomenclaturally available by Druce prior to its proposal and generic description by Hampson, 1900. The objective replacement name is Cyptonychia Druce, 1899. Poole (1989) included CYPTONYCHIA Hampson, 1900; and CHICHIMECA Hogue, 1963 as junior synonyms of CYPTONYCHIA Druce, 1899. |
