Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- In the original combination of the type-species the generic name was published as * BRAHMAEA, an incorrect subsequent spelling. ACANTHOBRAHMAEA was included within the family BRAHMAEIDAE by Lemaire & Minet, in Kristensen (1999).
