Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- An unjustified emendation of Agriphila Hübner, [1825], and a junior homonym of Agrophila Boisduval, 1840, Genera Index méth. eur. Lépid.: 175 - Lepid. Noctuidae. The objective replacement name is Agriphila Hübner, [1825]. The `Index universalis' was published as fascicle 12 of the Nomencl. zool.; Agrophila is dated from the wrapper of fascicle 12, not from its title-page which is dated 1846.
