Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Agrostobia when proposed contained five species including 'polodon'. There is no doubt from the context that the species which Boie included was that now known as monoglypha Hufnagel. The information given above fro Abromias also applies here. Agrostobia is a junior objective synonym of Abromias Billberg, 1820. See: ABROMIAS Billberg, 1820. Poole (1989) included ABROMIAS Billberg, 1820; SEPTIS Hübner, 1821; XYLOPHASIA Stephens, 1829; HAMA Stephens, 1829; AGROSTOBIA Boie, 1835; CRYMODES Guenée, 1841; SYMA Stephens, 1850; DIMYA Moore, 1882; EURABILA Butler, 1889; ELEEMOSIA Prout, 1901; PROTAGROTIS Hampsonm, 1903; AGROPERINA Hampson, 1908; TRICHOPLEXIA Hampson, 1908; HETEROMMA Warren, 1911; and HETEROMMIOLA Strand, 1912 as junior synonyms of APAMEA Ochsenheimer, 1816.
