The objective replacement name is Cerura Schrank, 1802. Boisduval mistakenly attributed the authorship of Dicranura to Latreille, probably because Latreille, 1825, in Cuvier, Familles nat. Régne Anim.: 473, used the vernacular term Dicranoure. |
