Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- N. orion is dated from the wrapper of the Heft and not from the title-page, 1786, of the volume. N. orion is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena alpium Osbeck, 1778, the type-species of Moma Hübner, [1820]. Diphteramoma in the Noctuidae, Acronictinae is cited here as it was not included in Nye, 1975, Generic Names Moths World 1.
