Memo: Discestra Hampson, 1905 was treated as a valid genus by Parenzan, 1981, Entomologica (Bari) 16 : 101. Poole (1989) included SALACIA Boie, 1839 as a junior synonym of DISCESTRA Hampson, 1905. Poole (1989) included 38 species in the genus DISCESTRA.
