Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Alamosa was established in the Pyralidae Anerastinae, part now Pyralidae Peoriinae, part Pyralidae Phycitinae; it was transferred to the Phyctinae by Shaffer, 1968, Bull. U.S. natn. Mus. 280: 60. Alamosa and A. piperatella were both Ragnot manuscript names made nomenclaturally available by Hampson.
