Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- Butler stated that Dreata should be restricted to D. hades and that it was natural that one of Walker's own species should be chosen for type of his genus. The same type-species was also designated by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 795. Dreata was established in the Liparidae, now Lymantriidae; it was placed in the Lasiocampidae by Butler, 1881, ibidem 5: xii, 69; and in the Eupterotidae by Swinhoe, 1892, Cat. east. and Aust. Lepid. Heterocera Colln Oxf. Univ. Mus. 1: 275.
