Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Drepanulides, a suprageneric term introduced by Boisduval, 1840, Genera Index meth. eur. Lepid.: 82, was used in a generic sense by Motschoulsky in 1866 when he doubtfully combined with it two new Japanese species of Drepanidae, D. palleolus and D. rufulus. It was included in the generic synonymy of Callidrepana Felder, 1861, but without a type-species designation, by Gaede, 1931, in Strand, Lepid. Cat. 49: 34 and by Inoue, 1956, Check List Lepid. Japan (4): 367.
