| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym of Alcippe Blyth, 1844, J. Asiat. Soc. Beng. 13: 384 - Aves. There is no objective replacement name, but M. castigataria is currently treated as congeneric with Geometra roboraria [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775, the type-species of Boarmia Treitschke, 1825. The latter is thus available as a subjective replacement name. See: BOARMIA Treitschke, 1825 [October 18]. Parsons et al. (1999) included ALCIPPE Gumppenberg, 1887; ASTACUDA Moore, 1888; BOARMIA Treitschke, 1825 [October 18]; DRYOCOETIS Hübner, 1825; EROBATODES Wehrli, 1943; MAIDANA Swinhoe, 1900; NARAPA Moore, 1887; PSEUDANGERONA Moore, 1887; PSEUDOBOARMIA McDunnough, 1920; and SERRACA Moore, 1887 as junior synonyms of HYPOMECIS Hübner, 1821. |
