Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- A junior homonym of Ecregma Walker, [1858] 1857, ibidem 12: 966, -Lepid., Notodontidae. There is no objective replacement name but E. damoetesalis is conspecific with Glympis eraconalis Walker, 1859, the type-species of Glympis Walker, 1859. The latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name. See: GLYMPIS Walker, 1859. Poole (1989) included ECREGMA Walker, 1859; ALUACA Walker, 1865; and PERTA Walker, 1866 as junior synonyms of GLYMPIS Walker, 1859.
