Memo: Poole (1989) included EGNASIA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included MARGANA Walker, 1866; MATELLA Moore, 1885; SPECTROPHYSA Swinhoe, 1900; and TALMELA Nye, 1975 (as TALMALA Nye, 1975) as junior synonyms of EGNASIA Walker, 1859. Poole (1989) included 42 species in the genus EGNASIA.
Type Comments: There are a total of 4 females from India & Bangladesh in the BMNH.
