Memo: Poole (1989) included ELYPTRON in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (1999). Poole (1989) included TEGARPAGON Berio, 1955 as a junior synonym of ELYPTRON Saalmüller, 1891. Poole (1989) included 10 species in the genus ELYPTRON.
