| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Invalid designation of type-species: Endopisa pisana Guenée, 1845, an originally included nominal species, was designated (as "nigricana Steph." with pisana Guenée cited as a senior synonym) by Fernald, 1908, Genera Tortricidae Types: 32; either pisana or its senior subjective synonym Pyralis nigricana Fabricius, 1794, has been accepted as the type-species by some authors. See also: * Endopiza Clemens, 1860; * Eudopisa Desmarest, 1857. Treated as a junior subjective synonym of GRAPHOLITA Treitschke, 1829, in Ochsenheimer, Schmett. Eur. 7: 232 in T@RTS: Online World Catalogue of the Tortricidae (Ver. 2.0) by Gilligan, T. M., J. Baixeras, J. W. Brown & K. R. Tuck. 2012 with the type-species Pyralis dorsana Fabricius sensu Treitschke, 1829 [=Tortrix lunulana [Denis & Schiffermuller], 1775]. |
