Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym of Ephoria Herrich-Schäffer, 1855, Syst. Bearbeitung Schmett. Eur. 6: 91; [1856] 1850-1858, Samml. neuer oder wenig bekannter aussereur. Schmett. 1 (1): 11 - Lepid. Bombycidae. The objective replacement name is Epholca nom. n. [Fletcher, 1979]. See: EPHOLCA Fletcher, 1979. Parsons et al. (1999) included EPHORIA Meyrick, 1892 as a junior synonym of EPHOLCA Fletcher, 1979.
