Main dataset and user interface to the 32,00 genus-group names recorded under this project.
Data notes
Tribes and subtribes are only included for some groups of butterflies, skippers, hawkmoths and tortricid moths (see Classification, which follows van Nieukerken et al., 2011). Links are provided to digitally scanned pages in the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) for more than 60% of the page references cited.
App usage notes
- Use the buttons at the top of the page to switch between searching for genera, type-species, authors, references and images.
- Use the filters to search or browse the contents of fields.
- Selecting a row from the table on the left-hand side of the page to display more information in the table on the right-hand side of the page.
