| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Phobetica was established as the objective replacement name for "Idiozancla Turn, 1936, (Oecophoridae)". This was a lapsus calami by Turner who intended to replace the junior homonym Idiozancla Turner, 1939, (Gelechiidae). However, this proposal of Phobetica has been accepted by authors including Neave, 1950, Nomencl. zool. 5: 123, and Sattler, 1973, Bull. Br. Mus. nat. Hist. (Ent.) 28: 238, as a replacement name for Idiozancla Turner, 1939. |
