Annual country-level summaries of BII and land use (2001-2012) for tropical and subtropical forests

Here we provide machine-readable (csv files) and human readable (pdf files) tables of country, subregion and region averages for the Biodiversity Intactness Index (BII) and land use (primary vegetation, secondary vegetation, cropland, pasture and urban) for countries that include tropical or subtropical forest biomes, for each year from 2001-2012.

These data are taken from De Palma et al (2021) Annual changes in the Biodiversity Intactness Index in tropical and subtropical forest biomes, 2001-2012, Scientific Reports.
