Images for the evaluation of automatic image segmentation algorithms

A collection of 804 jpeg images, each of one or more objects from the Natural History Museum's collections. All images are 4,096 pixels in width. These images can be used to develop and evaluate algorithms that perform image segmentation: the automatic detection of individual specimens within an image and the placing of a bounding box around each.
