Poole (1989) included COSMOPHILA Boisduval, 1833; ANOMUS Agassiz, 1847; GONITIS Guenée, 1852; AMARNA Walker, 1857; RUSICADA Walker, 1858; SCOEDISA Walker, 1858; DEREMMA Walker, 1865; TIRIDATA Walker, 1865; CAPITARIA Walker, 1869; DEINOPALPUS Holland, 1894; MOLOPA Swinhoe, 1902; RISTRA Walker, 1858; and GONOPTERONIA Bethune-Baker, 1906 as junior synonyms of ANOMIS Hübner, 1821.
